Backups

Backups let you preserve important Game Server files from the panel. They can help you recover from an accidental file change, a failed update, or another issue affecting your server.

You can create and manage backups without setting up a separate backup script or software. Before making major configuration changes, create a backup so you have a restore point available if something goes wrong.

Backups are not a replacement for keeping important data in more than one location. Always check the available storage and retention options for your service when planning a backup strategy.
